BROADWAY OYSTER BAR

Reviews

"Broadway Oyster Bar is great if you're looking for good food, good drinks & great live entertainment. The outdoor patio is a pretty happening scene on any given day. Located in downtown St. Louis it's close to the Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village, Riverfront & Laclede's Landing, Soulard and plenty other awesome landmarks worth visiting.
Give it a whirl..."

"Honestly the best meal I've had in quite some time. Great music and ambiance.
We sat outdoors on the patio and reveled in foodie goodness. Then, as the food coma set in, we jammed out to a fantastic blues band. What an amazing evening!"

"What a great place to eat I'd you want a southern taste in St. Louis. I went to this place as a visitor to the city. The staff is really nice and is great with suggestions. We ended up ordering a bunch of food. The crawfish Mona pasta is too good!!! Especially since I never had it before. The peel it and everything. We also had fried alligator for the first time. I finished it all. We had the alligator and shrimp cheesecake. Sounds crazy but was good too. But I loved the sauce it was served with even more. We did oyster shots and the an order of oysters. Yes it was all good. Ate till we were beyond full. This is a place I would recommend if you want dinner and a good time. They have two full bars and outside covered seating too. Don't believe me just go with an empty stomach and open mind and leave full."

"This is definitely a place to check out when you are in St. Louis. There isn't many places you can get crawfish, alligator tacos, mussels and good ol' Cajun food. They have live blues bands as well. If you are looking for different this is the place to check out."

"I went right when they opened for the day, during holiday season and received excellent individualized attention. The food was delicious and my order did not take long to come out the kitchen. It was good to have "southern" food as I do not get to see it done right where I live. The waitress had good, down to earth social skills and came to check on me often. Another staff (manager?) also came by to see how I liked the food. I ordered the mussels sampler and the Mona pasta dish. My only regret is I couldn't try everything and I will most likely never be in St Louis again."

"As for the food we had a variety of dishes. The char-grilled oysters were amazing. Along with alligator cheesecake. A savory appetizer that was much more than "addictive" as the menu states. Delicious is a vast understatement. We also got to experience crawfish enchiladas. We are both from AZ where enchiladas are a staple in many restaurants. None of which are crawfish. This was by far and away our favorite dish. There's not much more I can say about this place. If you're in the area looking for a unique place to eat that will surely not disappoint, DO NO OVERLOOK THIS PLACE.
Yes it was this good. We were only in St. Louis for one day and were actually staying about 30 miles out of town for the night and my wife was so enthralled with this place before we drove back home. She asked to go make the trek back to St. Louis just to eat there again. Needless to say I didn't argue. If I'm ever in St. Louis again it will no doubt be a must stop!"

"I would come back to St. Louis just for this place. A few tips :-)
Call ahead-- they will put your name on the priority list which made our wait time shorter.
Fried food-- do it! I am not really big on fried foods but fried shrimp Voodoo was the best!!
Craw fish enchiladas A++
Cocktails are reasonably priced
Nightly live music-- I think you will have to pay cover charge even you order dinner. Looks like this place gets busy after Cardinals game so check the schedule ahead of time. On the night we were here, Love Jones the Band played and OMG... We might just sign up to be their groupies (LOL)"
